The end of the planet presents several difficulties. The fundamental objective is survival, which is impossible without weighty weaponry at one’s side. The Fallout 4 modding community has given the relatively simple weapons system an extensive overhaul throughout the years, with amazing effects.
The following is a list of the best weapons modifications that Fallout 4 players may add to their experience. Some of these modifications add new weapons, while others revamp old ones, while some alter the battle system itself. We’ve updated this post to include five additional modifications that are certain to provide much-needed variety to the current weaponry system since the amount of possible mods is so vast.
1) M32 Sig Sauer P220
Consider supplementing your tiny, modern-looking primary weapon with the Sig P220 pistol by modder Millenia. This incredibly tactical-looking weapon will make you feel less like a mad maniac turning the world upside down to locate their child and more like a serious, well-trained special operator, which may significantly enhance your experience after the main tale has been completed.
It is highly configurable in-game, has custom noises, and contains a version dubbed the “Diplomat” that can only be acquired at a certain point in the game.
2) Combined Arms
Sometimes, gamers may find downloading modifications one by one to be quite tedious. It is more straightforward to download a collection of decent weapon modifications, however, it is difficult to find a collection that is widely adored.
The Combined Arms mod contains an intriguing and wide assortment of weaponry. This mod includes an expansion pack and is regarded by most gamers as one of the best weapon modifications available.
3) Modular Simonov PTRS-41 Anti-Tank Rifle
Power Armors are the tanks of the Fallout world, transforming their wearers into mobile combat stations… and you are not constantly running the device. Sure, you could always use a mini-nuke against them, but shooting one inside or from the cover may be more harmful than the Power Armor itself.
The modder MJP2008 has provided us with the Simonov PTRS-41 Anti-Tank Rifle and the Type 76 Chinese Anti-Power Armor Rifle, both of which are included in the same mod. The mod further adds a can opener that may be used as a melee weapon. I’m certain that, given sufficient time, you could also pry out a hole in a Power Armor.
4) Crossbows Of The Commonwealth
Crossbows are always included in post-apocalyptic television programs, films, and video games. From a psychological standpoint, it is simple to see why. They are huge, vicious, and pack a powerful punch without alerting a large number of foes.
The mod Crossbows of the Commonwealth seem to concur. It adds a highly configurable crossbow weapon system to the game, along with a variety of bolts that may be recovered after a successful kill. The ideal modification for stealth gamers.
5) Mosin Nagant
Sniper rifles have always been about stealth for me. Always enabling you to strike a fatal blow before your foes even realize your presence. This is what the Mosin Nagant sniper rifle was built to accomplish in the late Russian Empire, and it was employed for this purpose throughout the early Soviet Union.
You can now add it to your Sole Survivor’s armory, replete with sights and a bayonet for a more genuine experience, courtesy to NexusMods user FX0x01.
6) Extended Weapon Mods
If tinkering and modifying guns are your things, Extended Weapon Mods contains everything you need to satisfy your cravings. The mod enables players to Frankenstein guns into a range of improvised and constructed variations according to their play style.
10mm pistols can be converted into rifles.44 calibre pistols can be fitted with bump stocks, and double-barrelled shotguns may be converted into triples. This is only the top of the iceberg. It is the ideal mod for people who find the vanilla weaponry system to be a little lacking.
7) Wattz Laser Gun
Even while Fallout 4 has a vast selection of retro-futuristic weaponry, such as the Fat Man, it does not include every weapon made in the two centuries after the bombs fell. Creator DeadPool2099 developed the Wattz 3000, a lore-friendly weapon design with bespoke animations, models, and textures so excellent you’d believe it was always in the game, in an effort to address this problem.
The Wattz 3000 is an improved version of the Wattz 2000 from the original two Fallout games, and its design is almost identical to that weapon. You may paint it anyway you want, but I believe the default black and yellow colour scheme looks best.
8) Modular Simonov PTRS-41 Anti-Tank Rifle
There is nothing worse than confronting a foe in power armour while armed with a low-powered weapon. Your 10mm lens will not suffice here. This mod alters the balance of power by providing players with the ideal weapon to eliminate these formidable foes from a safe distance.
It includes a can opener that may be used as a melee weapon. If you choose to manually open such suits, you may do so. Consider purchasing the PTRS-41 before attempting to clear Outpost Zimonja, so that you have a fighting chance against Boomer and his Fat Man.
9) Useful Crank – Laser Musket Doesn’t Require Ammo
This is an outstanding mod that addresses a major flaw in one of the game’s most popular (and main) weapons. Useful Crank eliminates the ammunition system of the Minute Men Laser Musket in favour of the hand-crank charging mechanism.
Not only does this seem much more realistic, but it also makes logical sense given that lasers do not consume ammunition. This is particularly useful if an adventurer runs out of ammunition and needs a ranged weapon as a backup.
10) Fusion Gun
Consider the Fusion Gun by modder FalloutSuite if you’d want to keep closer to the visual and fictitious time period of Fallout 4, but yet want something wholly unique to punish raiders.
This mod adds a whole new and complex energy weapon with its own ammunition type and over a dozen weapon attachments to spice things up. Not only is it deadly to handle, but only a weapon with heat-dispersion systems can produce such a ferocious appearance.
11) AnotherOne’s Police Weapons Pack
This weaponry pack adds a little of flare to the Commonwealth’s numerous police stations by leaving behind guns that may be retrieved. The first is a rifle with a big calibre intended for maximum stopping force.
The second is a sidearm that may be fitted with a silencer for stealthy takedowns. The update enhances the game’s realism by including pre-war weaponry that would often be employed by law enforcement in times of crisis.
12) FN FAL – SA58
If you want your Sole Survivor to become the greatest soldier, deserving of the finest first-person shooter PS4 games, you’ll want to get your hands on this mod. This mod includes the powerful FN FAL SA58, the Kukri machete knife, and a few military costumes, allowing you to feel like a true one-man army fighting against the Commonwealth.
We believe this is particularly appropriate if you’re playing as a male Sole Survivor. In if that wasn’t enough, this update also includes a new end-game dungeon dubbed the Bone Zone, which promises one hell of a battle.
13) SCAR-H
Fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have always felt that the SCAR-H assault weapon is better in the game’s multiplayer mode. Since then, the weapon has gained widespread popularity in gaming, and modder Robersonb1 has made it accessible in Fallout 4.
It is aesthetically pleasing, and dependable, and includes modifications, custom noises, and, of course, bespoke animations that make it seem at home in the game’s engine. By changing its cartridge type from.308 to 5.56, it may also be transformed into an effectively SCAR-L variant.
14) Craftable Guns & Weapons
One of the most-requested features of Fallout 4 was the option to create the weapons you want, rather than having to search for them. Craftable Guns And Weapons enables players to create their own versions at the workshop.
Modification version 1.9 is the most dynamic to date. It prevents players from accessing specific weapon recipes unless they have achieved the corresponding perks. From pistols to assault rifles, laser muskets to missile launchers, players will be able to create the optimal weapon for their next adventure.
15) Wattz Laser Gun
Although Fallout 4 has a large number of futuristic weaponry, there is always space for more! The Wattz Laser Rifle patch adds a brand-new, lore-compatible firearm with modified animations and visuals based on the Wattz 2000 from Fallout 1 and 2.
You may alter this laser musket at your weapons workbenches to better fit your playstyle and make it even more powerful in battle.
The Wattz Laser rifle is ideal for Fallout aficionados who want to relive the glory of previous Fallout weaponry, and if your character primarily depends on energy weapons, you will want to get it.
