Thicker and voluminous lashes are correctly associated with beauty, but that’s not the only reason one might go for them. Here are some other underrated reasons:
- To enhance the appearance of their natural lashes: Not everyone opting for extensions has issues with their natural lashes. But adding lashes can make your existing ones look longer, thicker, and more voluminous, improving their overall appearance.
- To save time on their daily beauty routine: With eyelash extensions, one may skip applying mascara and save time on their daily makeup routine. All working women can certainly relate to this one.
- For a confidence boost: Eyelash extensions can give one a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance, which can help boost confidence and self-esteem. A little self-love hurt nobody.
At Vilero Aesthetic and Beauty Clinic, we offer different types and varieties of eyelash extensions, the most popular of which are as follows:
Classic lashes: One synthetic lash is applied to each natural lash. As the name implies, this is the most traditional form of eyelash extensions. “1 to 1” or “1:1” also refers to this approach. This is very helpful for those blessed with enough eyelashes but who want them to be a bit longer. Your natural lash count will remain the same when the procedure is complete. Still, seventy to eighty new lashes are typically applied to each eye.
Volume Eyelash Extensions: Unlike the above set, here, several artificial lashes are applied to a single natural lash, one at a time, using extremely fine lashes to isolate each natural lash. It is called “3D” if three artificial eyelashes are attached to one real one, “4D” if four are used, and so on. Russian volume is another name for this approach.
Small Volume 2D Eyelash Extensions: This method creates a 2D extension by adhering two artificial lashes to a single natural lash with glue. Some women whose eyelashes are thinner than average can only achieve a fuller and thicker appearance by adding double the volume with eyelash extensions. But going above that would not flatter their overall look. Therefore, 2D extensions are the way to go.
